Labelling
All Fair Trees products are sold with a special label ensuring that the consumer recognises the product. The wording on the label has been approved by Fair Trade Denmark.
On the label there is also a short text which the buyer can read about how Fair Trade works. It is up to you as a producer to decide whether you will label the trees with your own label as well, in which case the tree will bear two labels.
The labels cost 6 Danish kroner apiece. The income is distributed as follows:
5 Danish kroner towards the Fund’s work in Georgia
20 Danish øre in licence fees for the Fair Trees name
10 Danish øre to Fair Trade Denmark
35 Danish øre towards production
35 Danish øre towards marketing and administration
