Becoming a Fair Trees® retailer is a simple and transparent process. You must conform to a number of basic conditions so that the consumer and yourself can be sure that the Christmas trees have been grown in agreement with sound principles in terms of environment, conditions of employment and quality control.
To sell and produce Fair Trees you must:
- strive towards achieving GAP certification
- cooperate with local unions for fair working conditions and wage agreements
- commit to producing Fair Trade trees in the future
- agree to the Fair Trees producers’ code of conduct
